Great video, Many thanks! I bought replacement tyres instead of the electric tape. To slide them easily, add a lot of wd-40 on the inside of the tyre and push down using two overlapping spanners no 8 or so.

Very good video, works for fi-5120c as well.

Show de bola!!! O problema é que a fita isolante com pouco tempo começa a ficar solta, principalmente devido o aquecimento que ocorre depois de escanear várias páginas, o que transforma a cola da fita numa meleca. Mas pra tirar o cara do prego é uma excelente ideia.

Hi Luis, thanks a lot for your good intruduction how to deasemble the Scanner und replace the rollers. I've done this on me Fi-5120C with new rolls. My problem now is, that the lengh of a DinA4 page is shorter (282mm instead of 297mm) because of a different diameter of the rolls. How do you fiexed this problem with your tape? Here the diameter must be much more different. I adjust the lengh in the Twain driver, but is it possible to do this directly in the Scanner?

Thanks for your video, replaced the four rollers using the video, having got the from Ebay seller. Everything is fine except now left with a E3 error so will have to sort this out.

What solvent can be used to remove spilled rubber roller residue?
